Malang, East Java – On Monday, July 21, 2025, dr. Nur Rochmah was officially appointed as the new director of Kanjuruhan Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Kanjuruhan) in Malang Regency, marking a new chapter for the hospital’s leadership. The inauguration ceremony, attended by Malang Regent H.M. Sanusi, Deputy Regent Lathifah Shohib, PKK Mobilization Team Chair Anis Zaidah Sanusi, members of the local parliament, and regional officials, underscored the significance of this transition.

Regent Sanusi expressed optimism that dr. Rochmah’s leadership would strengthen healthcare services across Malang Regency. He emphasized the need for a director who is “intelligent, firm, and disciplined” to enhance the hospital’s quality of care and maximize its potential. Sanusi also highlighted the importance of collaboration with various stakeholders to elevate the hospital’s standards.
Previously the director of Lawang Regional Hospital, dr. Rochmah pledged to continue ongoing programs while advancing RSUD Kanjuruhan’s development as a specialized center for cancer, heart, stroke, and uronephrology care (RSKJSU). “We will ensure the 2025 programs are fully implemented. New initiatives tailored to community needs will be introduced in 2026,” she stated.
Dr. Rochmah reaffirmed her commitment to prioritizing specialized services, aiming to establish RSUD Kanjuruhan as a leading referral hospital in the greater Malang region.
