A Young Artist's Universal Message
Using oil pastels and acrylics, Vivian's work stood out not for technical complexity but for its heartfelt message about self-acceptance. "She's always loved drawing, but what makes us proudest is how she expresses big ideas through art," said her mother Ervinna Wang on Thursday (8/5/2025).

Global Recognition
Organized by Japan's IE-NO-HIKARI Association, the competition selected Vivian's work among 200 finalists judged by museum curators, art professors, and educators. This builds on Vivian's growing international portfolio, including exhibitions in:
- Indonesia (ArtKids 2024)
- Romania
- Poland
- Serbia

Nurturing Creativity
The first-grader fearlessly experiments with watercolors, acrylics, and other media. "We simply provide space and support," Ervinna explained. "We want Vivian to know every thought in her mind deserves expression."

More Than Just Art
Vivian's achievement highlights the potential of Indonesian children when given creative freedom. Her "Be Yourself" title serves as a gentle reminder - in a demanding world - that authenticity breeds the strongest voices.
