Pasuruan Regency to Launch Creative Center to Curb Youth Delinquency

According to Regent Rusdi, the PCC will serve as a hub to channel the energy of young people into productive and meaningful activities. "With the increasing incidents of gang-related issues and youth misbehavior, the PCC is designed to address these challenges," he stated.

Rusdi emphasized that tackling juvenile delinquency requires more than just law enforcement efforts. He called for collaboration among various stakeholders, including local government agencies and the community. "We urge the Civil Service Police Unit and public servants to support the police in upholding the law. Cross-sector coordination is key to addressing this issue comprehensively," he said, affectionately referred to as Mas Rusdi by locals.

The PCC will offer a space for young people to engage in positive activities tailored to their interests and talents. The program is expected to provide a long-term solution to reduce gang-related disturbances in the community. "Through the Pasuruan Creative Center, we are creating opportunities for the youth of Pasuruan to develop their skills and passions," Rusdi affirmed.

In addition to the PCC, the Pasuruan Regency government is conducting regular outreach programs across various regions to educate youth about legal awareness and foster productive character development. "We are proactive in conducting outreach to guide young people toward making the right choices," Rusdi explained.
