Gresik Hotels Shift to Family-Friendly Market Amid Budget Efficiency Policies

Aston Gresik Hotel & Conference Center is among those embracing this shift. "Previously, our market was business-oriented. Now, we’re transitioning to a child-friendly hotel, launching campaigns to attract families to stay in Gresik," said Moses Rahadian, Marketing Communication Manager at Aston Gresik, on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Rahadian emphasized that future hotel offerings will focus on family-oriented experiences, with programs like kids' activities to enhance guest stays. These activities include fun, educational experiences such as cupcake decorating, donut designing, sandwich-making, and cooking sunny-side-up eggs, ensuring children enjoy their time at the hotel.

"Other hotels are also competing to offer kids' activities to draw families. We’re leveraging this strategy," Rahadian added.

Additionally, Aston Gresik is moving away from aggressive hard-selling tactics, focusing instead on social media promotions to reach a broader audience. "We’re selling the experience—how guests can enjoy our facilities like the pool, rooms, and more. We promote the direct experience to spark interest," Rahadian concluded.
