The All-New Destinator is a seven-seater, three-row midsize SUV, marking Mitsubishi’s third globally strategic model produced in Indonesia, following the Xpander MPV crossover and Xforce compact SUV. “This is our third strategic global model born in Indonesia, targeting the ASEAN region and beyond,” said Mitsubishi Motors President and CEO Takao Kato during the launch at Senayan Park on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The model will also be introduced in other ASEAN markets like Vietnam and the Philippines, as well as South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

Available in GLS, Exceed, and Ultimate trims, the Destinator features a power panoramic sunroof, offering a spacious cabin feel. It is Mitsubishi’s first vehicle to allow sunroof adjustments via the Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system, enabling users to control the glass opening and sunshade in five-percent increments or tilt the glass for improved airflow.

“Indonesia is a cornerstone of Mitsubishi Motors’ operations. By expanding production and sales of the Destinator and other models, we are committed to driving growth in Indonesia’s automotive industry and local economy while delivering inspiring and satisfying vehicles globally,” Kato added.
